• Check after the close of escrow— some clients prefer to receive their rebate outside of escrow.

Real estate commission rebates are not reflected as taxable by the IRS. A rebate will decrease the cost basis of your home (the price you paid).  For example:  If you purchase a $500,000 home and we rebate $5,000 (1% of the buyer’s commission) your cost basis on your home would be $495,000. When you sell your home it would be based on that value.
