We Share Commission With Buyers!
Buy with us and receive a cash rebate of the buyer’s agent commission up to 1% of the buyers 3% commission. Sellers normally offer a buyer’s agent commission of 2.5-3.0% of the purchase price and we give back up to 1% of that amount.
- Closing statement Credit — our rebate is itemized on your HUD1 closing statement as a credit, as a result causing you to bring less cash to close escrow.
- Check after the close of escrow— some clients prefer to receive their rebate outside of escrow.
Real estate commission rebates are not reflected as taxable by the IRS. A rebate will decrease the cost basis of your home (the price you paid). For example: If you purchase a $500,000 home and we rebate $5,000 (1% of the buyer’s commission) your cost basis on your home would be $495,000. When you sell your home it would be based on that value.
